




The purpose of The Tea Rose Foundation is to provide programs, services, and activities to improve quality-of-life issues for the economically disadvantaged. To further its purpose, The Tea Rose Foundation conducts programs and provides presentations and financial support to the community on a wide range of topics in the areas of Education, Health, Family strengthening, Civic engagement and Collaborations, Environmental Stewardship, and Global Impact.

The Tea Rose Foundation has:
- Awarded Leyser C. Holmes Scholarships annually to 25 graduating Seniors throughout the Delta, Arkansas, and surrounding areas.
- Contributed to Mississippi HBCUs and colleges
- Sponsored Local public-school activities, including athletics, social, scholastic and PTA events.
- Supported and contributed to Health programs and organizations in area of breast cancer awareness, heart disease, childhood cancer, obesity, and mental illness.
- Implemented “Go Green” Initiative Collaboration to encourage energy efficiency, conservation, and eco-living.
- Contributed and supported local families who struggle with life challenges in areas of housing, daily necessities, parenting, emotional, domestic, or elderly abuse and caregiving.
- Implemented area Youth programs promoting development of leadership skills and supporting STEM projects and career pursuits.
- Contributed to community Food pantries, neighborhood and park improvement projects, mentoring programs, voter registration drives, local community parades festivals.

The programs of The Tea Rose Foundation are funded through the support of donors, grants, and fundraisers of its members and local community. On January 7, 2021, The Tea Rose Foundation, Inc. became the new owner of 1680 Walker Lane, in Greenville MS – which serves as headquarters for its administration, meetings and service activities.
